really good teachers that make such an amazing amount of effort! but unfortunately i do feel that this college lacks resources. people with disabilities in the class require personal assistance ... unfortunately these poor people are left to deal with there own situations or the teacher has to take time out to show them. when i studied my graphic design level 2 the people in my class .. i made some good friends and i couldn't have asked for a better teacher but again i do feel that we lacked resources. The people at reception ... some of them are really friendly and some of them are just really unhelpful. The facilities at this college really do need to be improved but if your looking for somewhere as just a stepping stone then definetly book in ... the teachers are very experienced.

Kensington and Chelsea College

Hortensia Rd, Chelsea, London SW10 0QS, UK – 020 7573 3600

Kensington and chelsea college is a wonderful place that really helps people start towards higher education and learn what they enjoy. I studied art and all the tutors are so passionate and considerate with a real interest in the students who they always prioritised. The Chelsea campus is a really great building with easy access and lots of resources for students.

I completed my access to humanities course here 16yrs ago. Staff were wonderful and supportive. Help with the UCAS forms was invaluable. I went on to a degree in Psychology and later an MSc in Social Work. I have now ventured down a new path of design. But I STRONGLY recommend this college for people starting on a new career path no matter what it might be. I just wouldn't recommend the French tutor he is not very nice.

South Thames College

Wandsworth High St, London SW18 2PP, UK – 020 8918 7777

I had a great experience at Souththames College, in the performing arts course they really helped build my confidence on stage singing and performing and it is a really friendly environment and the tutors give genuine advice and guidance throughout your time studying there.

My experience on the performing arts course was very 50/50 hence why I have given this college 3 stars. During my time on this course I was pushed out of my comfort zone by my tutors which helped to built up my confidence, where I was able to sing a solo song in front of an audience which I would have never been able to do 2 years ago. I gained a lot of in depth knowledge about theatre practitioners and the history of musical theatre which are things that will benefit me knowing in University. Although I didn’t have a horrible time there I must say at times the tutors were very unprofessional/unorganised when it came to the final show. People were allowed to get away with not learning their lines, choreography and staging which really annoyed me. They left everything to the last minute and would get angry when things were not done due to their own unprofessionalism. Which then resulted in the final show not being as amazing as it could be. Despite these misshaps I really enjoyed my time at this college as some of the people were lovely and really added to my experience. Xxx I would recommend this college but I would tell you to consider some of the points I have raised above.

Generally it is quite extraordinary institution which many people thought would fail but actually has been an unqualified success since it was founded in 1969.
